Chenrezig, Tibetan Buddhist Statue
Chenrezig is revered as the embodiment of compassion, embodying the loving kindness of all Buddhas. He's also known as Avalokitesvara, meaning "One Who Looks With Unwavering Eye." When life gets tough, he's there, listening to the cries of all living beings. His two front hands clasped together in front of his heart, adorned with precious jewels. In one hand, he holds a crystal rosary, representing the unending cycle of life. In the other hand, a white lotus symbolizes his ability to rescue beings from suffering and guide them towards enlightenment. He sits gracefully on a bed of lotus petals. His legs are crossed in a meditation posture known as the "diamond position," showing his deep concentration and inner peace.
