The Protector King of the North
Namtoshe is also known as Vaisravana a prominent deity in Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism. He is revered as a guardian king and the god of wealth. Often depicted in elaborate armor and royal attire, Namtoshe holds a mongoose in his hand, which symbolizes the ability to expel greed and generate abundance. The mongoose often spits jewels, representing the granting of wealth and prosperity. Namtoshe is associated with both material wealth and spiritual riches, believed to bestow blessings of financial stability as well as protection from obstacles on the spiritual path. His fierce expression and posture reflect his role as a powerful protector, but his deeper essence is one of generosity and ensuring the wellbeing of all beings.
