Exquisite Dzambhala Statue from Nepal | Lost-wax Casted Copper Sculpture

This Exquisite Dzambhala statue is crafted from durable copper alloy using lost wax casting method. Every contour of this copper sculpture is meticulously carved and polished by hand, then finished with layers of gold fire-gilding for lasting brilliance. Intricate gemstone inlays, along with fine hand chasing and repoussé work, lend remarkable depth to the diadem and sacred garments.

Designed as a Dzambhala meditation sculpture to cultivate generosity and wealth, the deity is seated in a royal ease posture upon a lotus seat with one foot resting near a sacred shell. He holds a jewel-spitting mongoose symbolizing the continuous flow of prosperity and a citron fruit representing spiritual fulfillment. Adorned with a shell diadem, fine earrings, gemstone necklace and a floral patterned lower garment, his prominent belly reflects the capacity to contain abundance, while his slightly wrathful expression serves to clear poverty-causing karma and overcome spiritual obstacles.

Devotees invoke his blessings through the sacred mantra, "Om Jambhala Jalendraye Svaha", chanted with sincerity to invite prosperity and remove the obstacles of poverty. In Buddhist tradition, sincere devotion to Dzambhala serves as a reminder that true wealth arises from compassion, virtuous actions, and the selfless sharing of one's resources for the welfare of all sentient beings.
