Jowo Rinpoche, also known as Crowned Buddha, is the most revered Buddha statue in Tibetan Buddhism, originally enshrined in Jokhang Temple of Lhasa. Depicted at the age of twelve, this sacred depiction embodies wisdom and enlightenment. Seated in serene stillness upon a lotus pedestal, the Buddha's left hand cradles the alms Bowl symbolizing compassion while his right hand rests in the earth-touching Mudra. Beside him stand his two devoted disciples, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, each rendered in fine detail holding a ritual staff and alms bowl honoring their timeless role as closest attendants to the Buddha.

The statue is elevated upon a multi-tiered, lion-supported throne adorned with symbolic icons including elephants, Vishwa Vajra and the Dharmachakra. Behind him rises a harmonious aureole, its surface embellished with floral motifs and delicate scrollwork, crowned above by Garuda flanked by twin Nagakanya figures and Makara heads.
