Enthroned Dzambhala Statue – Wealth Protector Who Dispels Poverty and Obstacles

Welcome to a piece shaped through generations of devotion and skill. This Dzambhala Statue is hand cast by Nepal's master artisans using the lost wax technique and crafted from durable copper alloy, ensuring exceptional detail and quality. Every contour is then hand carved and polished with precision. The surface is fire-gilded with layers of 24K gold using mercury gilding method, where pure gold is melted with liquid mercury into a paste then heated until the mercury vaporizes and the gold bonds to the metal beneath. The Statue is further adorned with precious stones then carved with hand chasing and repousse technique to bring out the finest detailing.

Every detail of this Dzambhala Statue honors Buddhist iconography. His face carries piercing eyes and a vibrant beard in fine gold pigment beneath an ornate shell crown and earrings. Jambhala is shown with Swirling robes which hover around his divine while his lower garment is carved with cloud motifs. Dzambhala is depicted with celestial jewelry and hand-painted serpent which coils across his shoulders.

In his hands he holds a citron fruit and a mongoose spitting out jewels representing the abundance he bestows. Seated in royal ease with one foot resting on a vase and conch atop a lotus . Behind him a floral halo unfolds with the sun and moon on either side crowned by the figure of Amitayus.

The statue is elevated upon symbolic throne reveals new detail with every closer look. The upper tier of the throne carries a mini dragon, a wind horse known as Lungta and garuda in fine relief. The lower tier opens into mountains and stupas where deer rest beside the wisdom wheel. On every side of throne is flanked by the ashtamangala symbols. Turning to the reverse the lotus seat opens with the line [TOP LINE] followed by [LINE TWO] and [LINE THREE]. It closes with the larger line [CLOSING LINE]. Below this the base of the throne carries three further lines reading [BASE LINE ONE], [BASE LINE TWO], and [BASE LINE THREE].
