Handmade Chenrezig Statue | Tibetan Compassion Bodhisattva Figure

Bring Bodhisattva of Mercy into your space with this Chenrezig Statue, a stunning four-armed depiction of Avalokiteshvara seated gracefully on a lotus base. Hand-carved by a master artisan in Nepal using the ancient lost-wax method, this statue is crafted from copper and polished with a traditional gold amalgam of mercury and 24k gold. Through a sacred firing process, the mercury evaporates, leaving behind a brilliant and lasting layer of 24k fire gold gilded on copper.

Each of Chenrezig’s four arms holds symbolic objects representing his boundless compassion and ability to aid all sentient beings. This Chenrezig statue also features a hollow chamber for consecration, allowing practitioners to enshrine sacred relics or mantras. Devotees pray to Chenrezig to cultivate loving-kindness, relieve suffering, and awaken the heart of compassion within themselves and others.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Chenrezig

Chenrezig is the embodiment of this boundless compassion and is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Known in Sanskrit as Avalokiteshvara, this enlightened being made a sacred vow to remain in the cycle of rebirth until every sentient being is free from suffering. In Tibetan tradition, Chenrezig is often shown with four arms that represent love and compassion and joy and equanimity and sometimes with a thousand arms and eyes that symbolize his limitless ability to perceive and respond to the pain of all beings. His mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, is recited by millions and is believed to awaken the heart of compassion and bring peace and clarity to the mind. Chenrezig is also considered the patron deity of Tibet and is deeply connected to the lineage of the Dalai Lamas, who are regarded as his emanations.
