Chenrezig
The Four-Armed Chenrezig also known as Avalokiteshvara is a significant deity in Tibetan Buddhism. Chenrezig is celebrated for embodying infinite compassion for all sentient beings. His four arms represent his vast ability to assist others, with two hands in a prayer gesture (anjali mudra) holding a wish-fulfilling jewel, which symbolizes the essence of compassion. In his other right hand, he holds a rosary, indicating his unwavering prayers for the welfare of all beings, while his left-hand holds a lotus flower, representing purity and spiritual awakening. Chenrezig is viewed as the embodiment of the compassion of all Buddhas, and his mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum," is one of the most recited prayers in Buddhism, evoking the qualities of compassion and mercy.
