Traditional Guru Sangye Statue Set | 24K Gold Fire-Gilded Copper Sculpture

Honor the enlightened legacy of Guru Rinpoche with this Guru Sangye statue set, a complete Padmasambhava and Eight Manifestations ensemble handcrafted in Nepal. Each copper sculpture is cast using lost-wax method then enhanced with gold fire-gilding and refined three-dimensional hand carving. From finely patterned robes to meticulously engraved symbolic ornaments, every detail reflects Newari craftsmanship. The delicately gold-painted faces with expressive eyes and semi-precious accents, radiate compassion and powerful presence.

At the center, Guru Rinpoche is seated holding a vajra, skull cup and khatvanga trident, surrounded by his eight manifestations. The primordial urgyen dorje chang appears in yab-yum embracing his consort. The peaceful Shakya Senge wears monastic robes and holds an alms bowl and vajra, while Loden Chokse in royal garments wields a damaru and skull cup, beside regal prince Pema Gyalpo. Wrathful energies are embodied by Senge Dradrok framed in wisdom flames and fierce Dorje Drolo who rides a tigress with a phurba dagger. The semi-wrathful bone-ornamented yogi Nyima Ozer grasps a trident and sunbeam and Pema Jungne, the primary form sits in royal ease with his signature three robes, vajra and skull cup.

Together, these figures represent Padmasambhava's ultimate mastery over illusion and negative forces, uniting peaceful, semi-wrathful and wrathful activity as one enlightened mind. Devotees turn to him for protection from obstacles, the removal of negativity, spiritual guidance and swift blessings along the path of practice. Ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms and sacred interiors, this set brings a profound sense of harmony and devotion to any space.

About 8 Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche

Guru Sangey is a complete mandala of eight emanations arising from the enlightened activity of the Buddha Padmasambhava. They represent the skillful, powerful aspect of wisdom that manifests to subdue negative forces and obstacles. Each Guru is a unique expression of compassionate wrath, specializing in taming specific afflictions like ignorance, hostility, disease, and spiritual arrogance. Practices dedicated to them involve visualization, mantra recitation, and prayers from a sacred text known as the "Praises to the 8 Manifestations." Through this, devotees seek their blessings for both worldly accomplishments and ultimate spiritual goals, viewing them as wisdom guides who lead all sentient beings on the path to liberation and Buddhahood.
