Description

Dzambhala Sculpture form Nepal | Embodiment of Wealth and Abundance

This Dzambhala copper statue is handcrafted in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley using ancient lost-wax technique. Cast from solid copper and enriched with lustrous gold fire-gilding, the statue carries a warm and luminous glow. Hand-chased ornaments inlaid with vibrant turquoise and coral across the crown, earrings and necklace showcase the authentic artistry of Newari metalwork. Masterful repoussé and 3D hand-carving techniques bring out fine detail found only in true Newari craftsmanship.

Also known as Jambhala, this Buddhist deity of wealth sits in a powerful posture upon an ornately carved lotus pedestal. His right hand holds the Chintamani jewel for spiritual and material fulfillment while his left hand cradles a jewel-spitting mongoose as a lasting symbol of abundance. His five-jeweled crown & celestial ornaments reflects the highest standards of Nepalese metalwork. The back of the pedestal is engraved with triangular pile of cintamani and flanked by a pair of mice, a traditional motif representing wealth that never runs dry.

Whether placed in a meditation space or displayed as a collector's piece, this Dzambhala statue brings visual grandeur along with the energy of prosperity and protection. It stands as an authentic piece of Buddhist sculpture from Nepal, made to remain a lasting centerpiece for your home or shrine.

About Dzambhala

Dzambhala, revered as the enlightened deity of wealth, prosperity, and generosity, embodies the compassionate activity of relieving poverty and removing both material and spiritual obstacles. Dzambhala bestows abundance and good fortune, while encouraging the cultivation of generosity and contentment. Devotees invoke his blessings through the sacred mantra, "Om Jambhala Jalendraye Svaha", chanted with sincerity to invite prosperity and remove the obstacles of poverty. In Buddhist tradition, sincere devotion to Dzambhala serves as a reminder that true wealth arises from compassion, virtuous actions, and the selfless sharing of one's resources for the welfare of all sentient beings.
