This exquisite Manjushri statue is handcrafted by skilled Newari artists from Patan, Nepal using traditional metalworking techniques. Made from copper with a radiant gold fire-gilded finish, it features a 24K gold-painted face and is richly adorned with semi-precious stones. Manjushri is gracefully depicted upon a hand-carved lotus pedestal raising the flaming sword of wisdom in his right hand while holding the sacred Prajnaparamita Sutra in his left. His elegant form is adorned with a hand-carved floral motif silk garment, layered necklaces and an ornate five-jewel crown.
