Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.

Avalokiteshvara
The Two-Armed Avalokiteshvara, also known as Padmapani Lokeshvara, is one of the most revered Bodhisattvas of Compassion in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. His name means "The Lord Who Looks Upon the World with Compassion," and he is often depicted holding a lotus flower (Padmapani), symbolizing purity and enlightenment. According to Buddhist legends, Avalokiteshvara made a deep vow to help all sentient beings attain liberation. However, when he saw the immense suffering in the world, his head split into multiple pieces out of sorrow. In response, Amitabha Buddha blessed him, giving him many forms, including the Four-Armed and Thousand-Armed Avalokiteshvara, to better assist beings in need. The Two-Armed Avalokiteshvara remains a significant symbol of love and mercy, inspiring practitioners to cultivate kindness and selfless service. Worshippers chant the powerful mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum", believed to invoke his blessings, remove obstacles, and promote inner peace.
