Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.

Sakya Mahakala
Sakya Mahakala is a highly revered Dharma protector within the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. He is known for his fierce appearance and unwavering commitment to safeguarding both the spiritual teachings and the dedicated practitioners of this lineage. As a wrathful manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, who is the bodhisattva of compassion, Mahakala embodies the enlightened force that actively subdues all obstacles and transforms both internal challenges and external threats into spiritual clarity. In the Sakya tradition, he is often portrayed in the Pañjaranātha form, which is also called Lord of the Pavilion. This form symbolizes his vital role as the guardian of sacred spaces as well as spiritual wisdom. His dark blue or sometimes black body represents the unchanging nature of the dharmakaya, and his three eyes reflect his omniscient awareness of the past, present, and future.
