Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.

The First Drukpa Choegon Rinpoche
Dorje Jinpa Choekyi Gonpo, widely known as Druk Shabdrung Choekyi Gonpo, was a 16th-century master of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage and an emanation of Vajrapani. As the successor of Ngawang Choekyi Gyalpo, the 23rd Golden Rosary Master, he was an accomplished practitioner of Chakrasamvara, Vajrayogini, Vajrapani, Green Tara, and most notably, the Four-Armed Mahakala, a key protector practice in the tradition. Through deep devotion to his guru and unwavering dedication to the Dharma, he attained full realization and was honored as the Dorje Zinpa of Tsari, meaning the Lord of all Vajra Holders in the sacred land of Tsari. He was one of the rare masters, after Guru Padmasambhava, to subdue and bind the powerful Dharma Protector Jagpa Melen, making him the main protector of Dechen Choekorling. His renowned disciples included Lhatsewa Ngawang Zangpo (1st Yongdzin Rinpoche) and Drukchen Pema Karpo, who regarded him as inseparable from Padmasambhava.
