Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.
Authentic Shakyamuni Buddha Statue | Nepalese Hand-Carved Enlightenment Figure
Bring timeless serenity and enlightened presence into your sacred space with this exquisite Shakyamuni Buddha Statue, meticulously hand-carved by a skilled artisan from Nepal using the ancient lost wax method. Devotees revere Shakyamuni Buddha as the historical founder of Buddhism, whose teachings guide countless beings toward liberation from suffering. Our Shakyamuni Buddha statue is crafted from durable copper and polished through a traditional fire gilding process using a special mixture of gold and mercury, which, after intense heat, leaves behind a radiant layer of pure gold. Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated gracefully on a lotus seat, symbolizing spiritual purity and divine awakening, while holding a monk's alms bowl that represents renunciation and the simplicity of enlightened life. A beautifully detailed halo is crafted behind his head, signifying his transcendent wisdom and divine radiance.
Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

A fee will be charged for this service, which is respectfully donated to the lamas performing the rituals.
Shakyamuni Buddha
Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, was born into the royal Shakya clan in Lumbini, which is now part of Nepal, and he lived during the 6th century BCE as a prince surrounded by luxury and protection from the harsh realities of life. However, upon witnessing old age, sickness, death, and a wandering ascetic, he was deeply moved and chose to renounce his privileged life in search of a deeper truth. After years of ascetic practices and meditation, he attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya at the age of thirty-five, becoming the Buddha, or “Awakened One”. He spent the next forty-five years traveling and teaching the Dharma, including the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, which offer a path to liberation from suffering.
