Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.
Oxidized Copper Maha Padmasambhava Sculpture with beautifully Hand-carved design – Handmade in Nepal
Our Maha Padmasambhava Sculpture, a stunning embodiment of tantric power and enlightened wisdom. Handcrafted in Patan, Nepal, by a seasoned master artisan, this sacred statue is meticulously hand-carved from oxidized copper, giving it a rich, antique finish that speaks to the deep heritage of Himalayan craftsmanship. The sculpture features Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) seated gracefully on a single lotus base, symbolizing purity rising above worldly illusion. He holds a skull cup (kapala) in his hand—a powerful representation of transforming negativity into awakening. Intricately adorned with semi-precious stones, every gem is placed with care to enhance both visual beauty and spiritual resonance.
At the heart of this sculpture lies a hollow consecration chamber, purpose-built for filling with sacred mantras, relics, and prayers, amplifying its energy and blessings manifold. Devotees invoke Guru Rinpoche through his mantra—“Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum”—to eliminate inner and outer obstacles, protect from negative influences, and accelerate the path toward spiritual realization and inner transformation.

Maha Padmasambhava
Maha Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, meaning "Precious Guru," is a supremely revered tantric master in Tibetan Buddhism, widely honored as the Second Buddha for his pivotal role in spreading Vajrayana Buddhism across the Himalayan region in the 8th century. The title "Maha" signifies his greatness and supreme spiritual power, as he is believed to be a fully enlightened being who manifested miraculously from a lotus flower in Lake Dhanakosha—not born of a womb, but arising from pure awareness and prophecy.
In his Maha form, Padmasambhava represents the most elevated and wrathful-appearing aspect of his enlightened nature, capable of transforming the darkest negativities into radiant wisdom. He is often depicted seated on a lotus throne, holding a vajra, skull cup (kapala), and trident, adorned in royal robes and symbolic ornaments. His fierce yet compassionate expression reminds devotees that true liberation sometimes requires the fearless confrontation of inner demons and egoic attachments.
