Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.
Masterfully Crafted Vajrayogini Statue | Traditional Chinnamasta Sculpture
Chinnamasta Statue, meticulously hand-carved by a master artisan from Nepal using the traditional lost-wax method. Devotees pray to Chinnamasta to overcome fear, attachment, and ignorance, seeking empowerment, protection, and spiritual awakening. This sacred statue features the fierce goddess Chinnamasta, depicted with her severed head held in her hand and surrounded by a radiant halo, symbolizing self-sacrifice, transformation, and the transcendence of ego. Crafted with a hollow chamber for consecration, it allows devotees to place mantras or sacred relics inside to deepen spiritual blessings. Made from high-quality copper, the statue is polished using a unique gold amalgam of mercury and 24k gold and then fired to evaporate the mercury, leaving behind a durable and luminous 24k fire gold gilded finish.

Chinnamasta (Vajrayogini)
Chinnamasta is a fierce and enigmatic goddess revered in both Hindu and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions, known for her shocking yet deeply symbolic iconography. She is depicted as a self-decapitated deity, holding her severed head in one hand while three streams of blood gush from her neck—one into her mouth and two into the mouths of her attendants, symbolizing the flow of life, death, and spiritual sustenance. Her name means “She whose head is severed,” and she is one of the Ten Mahavidyas, representing the paradox of destruction and creation, self-sacrifice, and transcendence of ego.
In Buddhist contexts, she is known as Chinnamunda, a wrathful form of Vajrayogini or Vajravarahi, embodying the cutting away of delusion and attachment. Her image—standing nude atop a copulating couple—conveys the transformation of sexual energy into spiritual liberation, and her severed head symbolizes the transcendence of the mind and the awakening of kundalini energy. Though terrifying in appearance, Chinnamasta is a goddess of profound wisdom, guiding practitioners through the dissolution of ego and the realization of the Supreme Consciousness.
