Green Tara

Green Tara is a beloved female bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism who represents compassion in action and swift protection from fear and suffering. She is often shown seated in a posture of readiness with one leg extended, which signifies her willingness to step forward and help those in need. Her green color symbolizes active compassion and enlightened activity that benefits all beings. Devotees turn to Green Tara for guidance and support during times of difficulty and chant her mantra to invoke her presence and receive her blessings. She is considered the mother of all Buddhas and is known for her ability to respond quickly to the prayers of those who call upon her with sincere devotion.
