Siddhartha Gautama- Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama, later known as Shakyamuni Buddha, was born as the crown prince of the Shakya Kingdom, raised to be a king according to his father’s wishes. At the age of 29, Shakyamuni Buddha encountered the profound suffering of the world, which led him to renounce his royal life, luxurious clothing, and wealth in search of the root cause of suffering and its cure. After six years of intense study, self-denial, and meditation, he achieved his goal and attained nirvana, becoming Shakyamuni Buddha. He then traveled to the deer park in Sarnath, near Varanasi, India, where he shared his teachings, laying the foundation for the path to enlightenment.
