Consecration Process & Service

The statue includes a hollow chamber designed to hold rolled mantras, sacred relics, incense, herbal powders, and fragrant wood. During consecration, these are carefully filled and blessed through ritual prayers by qualified monks, making the statue spiritually complete and ready for your altar. A fee will be charged for this service, which is respectfully donated to the lamas performing the rituals.

Please note: Once consecrated, each statue becomes a sacred object and part of your spiritual journey. As such, it cannot be returned or refunded after this special blessing.

We purchased this handmade Chenrezig statue online earlier this year, and it is truly a masterpiece. The intricate detailing, radiant golden finish, and beautifully embedded turquoise and coral stones showcase exceptional craftsmanship. Its serene expression and symbolic posture embody tranquility and enlightenment, while the sturdy build and ornate base reflect authentic Nepalese artistry.

However, there are areas for improvement. The bottom plate covering the consecration items is difficult to conceal properly, causing some incense powder and crystal stones to fall out when we turned the statue over. Additionally, the detachable base and body could pose a challenge if we need to relocate the statue in the future.

The statue arrived in Switzerland via express delivery in an incredible three days, in a wooden crate secured with nails. It was thickly packaged, officially sealed, and included additional gifts. The artistic expression is beautiful and vibrant, which is especially rare for a small statue. The small colored beads are glued on and may fall off, but the important thing is the sturdy metalwork. Even without filling the crate, the bottom of the statue was securely sealed with a hammer and a copper disc. Everything demonstrates great care and dedication, and it will be a valuable aid to me.
