Black Manjushree Statue | Handcrafted Buddhist Gold Gilded Copper Sculpture

This Black Manjushri Statue is a sacred representation of transformative insight and protective wisdom, handcrafted in Nepal by skilled Newari artisans and shaped through the traditional lost-wax casting method, preserving centuries of Himalayan artistic heritage in every detail. Created from a refined copper body and finished with radiant gold gilding, this sculpture expresses the dynamic wrathful aspect of enlightened awareness, where each intricate detail reflects devotion, precision, and spiritual depth.

The gold-painted face, marked with a radiant third eye, symbolizes awakened insight and all-seeing wisdom, inspiring clarity and reverence. A finely detailed five-skull crown represents the transcendence of the five poisons, while the surrounding fiery halo embodies powerful protection and enlightened energy that dissolves ignorance and negativity.

Manjushri is depicted standing gracefully upon a lotus seat, a sacred symbol of purity rising above worldly illusion. In the right hand, the flaming sword of wisdom cuts through ignorance and delusion, while the left hand holds the sacred Prajnaparamita text, representing the perfection of transcendental knowledge and ultimate truth. This statue serves as a powerful focal point for meditation spaces, home altars, and sacred interiors, inviting clarity, protection, and awakened wisdom into any environment.

About Black Manjushri

Black Manjushri is revered as a powerful wrathful manifestation of the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, Manjushri, embodying a fierce yet compassionate force dedicated to dispelling deep-rooted suffering. Within Tibetan Buddhism, this form is especially invoked for healing severe illness, alleviating mental distress, and transforming intense emotional states into clarity and awareness. The wrathful appearance symbolizes not anger, but the swift and uncompromising removal of ignorance and obstacles on the spiritual path.
