Buy Our Buddha Shakyamuni Statue for Peace and Enlightenment | Artisan Crafted

Our exquisite Buddha Shakyamuni sculpture has been hand-carved by a master artisan in Nepal and reflects the profound spiritual heritage of Himalayan craftsmanship. The artist uses the traditional lost-wax method, which allows for intricate detailing and brings the serene presence of Shakyamuni Buddha to life. Devotees pray to Shakyamuni Buddha to cultivate inner peace, awaken wisdom, and follow the path of compassion and liberation.

Our Buddha statue is formed from pure copper and is polished using a blend of mercury and 24k gold to create a gold amalgam, and then it is fired to evaporate the mercury and fuse a radiant, enduring layer of gold onto the copper surface—this revered process is known as 24k fire gold gilding. Seated gracefully on a lotus throne and holding a monk’s alms bowl, Buddha Shakyamuni represents the historical Siddhartha Gautama who attained enlightenment and became the founder of Buddhism.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Buddha Shakyamuni

Buddha Shakyamuni, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is the historical founder of Buddhism and is revered as the “Sage of the Shakya Clan”, which is what the name Shakyamuni means. He was born into a royal family in the 5th or 6th century BCE in what is now southern Nepal, and he lived a life of luxury until he encountered the realities of aging, sickness, and death. These experiences awakened a deep spiritual yearning in him, and he chose to renounce his princely life so he could seek a path beyond suffering.

After years of intense meditation and ascetic practice, Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, and became the Buddha, meaning “the awakened one.” From that moment forward, he dedicated his life to teaching the Dharma, or the universal truths of existence, including the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. These teachings form the foundation of Buddhist philosophy and practice.
