Traditionally Hand-carved Buddhist Green Tara Statue | Hand-carved in Nepal

Invite divine blessings and fearless protection into your sacred space with this Green Tara Statue that is hand-carved by a master artisan from Patan, Nepal, using the ancient lost wax method. This green tara sculpture is crafted with a copper body and finished using the fire gilding technique, where 24k gold is polished as a gold amalgam made of mercury and gold and then fired until the mercury evaporates and leaves behind a radiant and lasting gold layer. Green Tara is seated on a lotus base in the gesture of varada mudra which represents generosity and open-hearted compassion. Devotees pray to Green Tara for relief from fear and protection during hardships and guidance through emotional or spiritual obstacles. Green Tara

Green Tara is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism, known as the embodiment of compassion in action. She is often called the “Mother of Liberation” and is revered for her swift response to the prayers of those in distress. With her vibrant green color symbolizing active compassion and enlightened activity, Green Tara is depicted seated in a posture of readiness—one leg folded in meditation and the other extended, ready to step into the world to help. Her right hand is in the varada mudra, offering blessings and protection, while her left holds a blue lotus (utpala), representing purity and spiritual awakening. Practitioners turn to Green Tara for protection from fears, removal of obstacles, and guidance through emotional and spiritual challenges. Her mantra, Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha, is chanted to invoke her presence and cultivate courage, compassion, and wisdom.
