Sacred Manjushri Statue | Handmade Himalayan Bodhisattva Sculpture

This stunning Manjushri Statue has been hand-carved by a master artisan in Nepal and reflects deep spiritual symbolism and extraordinary craftsmanship. The artist employs the traditional lost-wax method, which brings out intricate detailing and breathes life into the form of Manjushri, who is gracefully seated on a lotus throne and holds a flaming sword that represents the cutting of ignorance. The Manjushri statue is crafted from pure copper and undergoes a process where it is polished using a blend of mercury and 24k gold to create a gold amalgam, and then it is fired to evaporate the mercury and fuse a strong, radiant layer of gold onto the copper body—this method is revered as 24k fire gold gilding. Additionally, the statue includes a hollow chamber which can be used to consecrate sacred relics or mantras and enhance its spiritual power.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Manjushri

Manjushri, whose name translates to “Gentle Glory” or “Beautiful Wisdom,” stands as one of the most revered bodhisattvas within Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism and represents the embodiment of transcendent wisdom, or prajñā. He appears as a youthful figure who holds a flaming sword in his right hand that symbolizes the power to cut through ignorance and illusion, and who lifts a lotus in his left hand that supports a sacred text known as the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, which conveys the perfection of wisdom teachings. Manjushri is recognized as a fully enlightened being who guides seekers toward intellectual clarity and protects sacred knowledge, language, and memory.
