White Tara Statue | Authentic Nepalese Handmade Sculpture

Crafted by Newari artisans in the heart of Kathmandu's sacred metalworking tradition, this White Tara statue is hand-sculpted using the lost-wax method and enhanced with multiple polished layers of gold fire gilding, producing a luminous surface that radiates divine purity and serenity. White Tara, the embodiment of long life and healing is depicted here in her classic iconographic form — seated gracefully upon an ornately lotus seat, her right hand extended in the gesture of giving and her left hand raised in the vitarka mudra, holding the stem of a blooming utpala lotus flower. Her seven eyes symbolize her omniscient compassion that watches over all sentient beings across every realm of existence. This is the truly authentic and spiritually potent piece of Nepalese Buddhist sacred art — ideal for meditation practice or as a collector's masterpiece.

About White Tara

White Tara, also known as Sita Tara, is a revered female Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism who embodies maternal compassion, healing, and longevity. She is often depicted as a serene figure with seven eyes, three on her face, and one on each palm and solesymbolizing her vigilant awareness and ability to see the suffering of all beings. Born from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, she represents the feminine aspect of enlightened compassion and serves as a protector against physical and spiritual obstacles. Practitioners invoke White Tara Mantra: "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jnana Pustim Kuru Svaha", to cultivate inner peace, extend life, and overcome illness. Her radiant white form signifies purity and wisdom, making her a beloved guide on the path to spiritual awakening.
