Chenrezig

The Four-Armed Chenrezig, known as Avalokiteshvara, is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, representing the embodiment of boundless compassion for all sentient beings. His four arms illustrate his infinite capacity to provide assistance, with two hands in a prayer gesture (anjali mudra) that hold the wish-fulfilling jewel, symbolizing the essence of compassion. One of his right hands carries a rosary, signifying continuous prayers for the well-being of all beings, while his left hand holds a lotus flower, representing purity and spiritual enlightenment. Chenrezig is recognized as the embodiment of the compassion inherent in all Buddhas. His mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum," is one of the most widely recited prayers in Buddhism, invoking the qualities of compassion and mercy.
