Handmade Amitabha Buddha Statue Wearing Crown | Peace and Enlightenment Symbol

Crown Amitabha Buddha Statue is a radiant expression of sacred Nepali craftsmanship and spiritual devotion. Devotees pray to Amitabha to be reborn in his Pure Land, a realm of peace and clarity where liberation is easily attained. Hand-carved by a master artisan using the ancient lost-wax method, the statue is cast in copper and gilded with 24K fire gold—a traditional process where a mercury-gold amalgam is applied and fired to create a luminous and lasting golden finish.

Gracefully seated on a lotus throne, Amitabha Buddha is adorned with semi-precious stones that include turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli, enhancing the statue’s divine elegance. A hollow chamber within the sculpture allows for consecration with mantras or sacred relics, deepening its spiritual resonance. Amitabha Buddha, known as the Buddha of Infinite Light and Life, is revered in Mahayana and Pure Land Buddhism for his boundless compassion and his vow to guide all beings to enlightenment.

Amitabha Buddha

Amitabha Buddha, known as the Buddha of Infinite Light, is one of the most revered figures in Mahayana and Pure Land Buddhism. His name comes from the Sanskrit words "amita" meaning infinite and "abha" meaning light, symbolizing his boundless wisdom and compassion that shine across all realms of existence. According to Buddhist tradition, Amitabha was once a monk named Dharmakara who made 48 great vows to create a Pure Land—a realm free from suffering—where beings could be reborn and easily attain enlightenment. After countless lifetimes of spiritual cultivation, he fulfilled these vows and became Amitabha Buddha, presiding over the Western Paradise known as Sukhavati.
