About Dorje Phagmo

Dorje Phagmo, also known as Vajravārāhī or the "Thunderbolt Sow," is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying the wrathful aspect of Vajrayogini and regarded as the supreme queen of all dakinis. She is considered an emanation of enlightened feminine energy and a divine consort of Heruka Chakrasamvara. The lineage of Dorje Phagmo began in the 15th century with Chökyi Drönma, a princess of Gungthang, who was recognized by the mahasiddha Thangtong Gyalpo as an incarnation of Vajravārāhī.
