Dorje Phagmo
Dorje Phagmo, also known as Vajravārāhī or the "Thunderbolt Sow," is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying the wrathful aspect of Vajrayogini and regarded as the supreme queen of all dakinis. She is considered an emanation of enlightened feminine energy and a divine consort of Heruka Chakrasamvara. The lineage of Dorje Phagmo began in the 15th century with Chökyi Drönma, a princess of Gungthang, who was recognised by the mahasiddha Thangtong Gyalpo as an incarnation of Vajravārāhī. This marked the start of the Sanding Dorje Phagmo line, which is the highest female incarnation in Tibet and ranks third in the Tibetan Buddhist hierarchy after the Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama.
