Golden Jambhala Statue | Newari Masterpiece Craftsmanship

Welcome the energy of abundance and prosperity into a sacred space with this Dzambhala statue, masterfully handcrafted by skilled artisans of the Kathmandu Valley using centuries-old Newari techniques. This fire-gilded copper representation of Dzambhala, revered as the Buddhist deity of wealth and generosity in Vajrayana Buddhism, embodies the essence of Himalayan sacred artistry and spiritual metalwork tradition.

Every intricate detail is shaped through master Newari craftsmanship, from the commanding jeweled crown to the finely set semi-precious turquoise and coral inlays adorning the ornate halo. The composition reflects profound devotion and a living heritage of sacred metalwork, carefully preserved and passed down through generations of skilled artisans.

Dzambhala is portrayed in his traditional iconographic form, seated in royal ease. The left hand holds a mongoose, symbolizing the spontaneous outpouring of abundance, while the right hand holds a citron fruit, representing prosperity. The flaming Halo behind the figure stands as a remarkable expression of craftsmanship, layered with flowing acanthus motifs and turquoise-coral beadwork, creating a striking contrast against the 24K fire-gilded surface.

Every statue in our collection is sourced directly from master artisans of the Kathmandu Valley, ensuring authentic iconography, ethical production, and museum-grade quality rooted in Himalayan craftsmanship. Every piece is individually inspected for iconographic accuracy and refined detailing before shipping, preserving both spiritual authenticity and artistic excellence.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Dzambhala

Dzambhala, known as the Buddhist god of wealth and prosperity, is revered across Tibetan Buddhism as a deity who bestows financial stability, spiritual growth, and protection from misfortune. Rooted in the ancient teachings of Vajrayana Buddhism, Dzambhala embodies compassion, aiding practitioners by alleviating poverty and suffering. Traditionally depicted with a crown and holding a mongoose that spits jewels, Dzambhala’s iconography symbolizes his power to provide abundance. His origins connect to both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, with five main manifestations, including Yellow Dzambhala (the most popular form), each associated with distinct blessings. Devotees believe that meditating on Dzambhala or keeping a statue in a sacred space invites not only material wealth but also inner richness, creating a balanced approach to worldly and spiritual prosperity.
