Description

Bodhisattva Deity Statue | Artisan-Made for Divine Presence

This exquisite handcrafted Bodhisattva statue is created using the traditional lost-wax method by a skilled artisan. Featuring a radiant gold-gilded face, the surface of the statue is polished with a gold amalgam, created by mixing pure 24k gold with mercury and carefully applying it to the copper body. It is then fired at a high temperature in a traditional process that evaporates the mercury and leaves behind a rich, radiant layer of real gold—a method known as 24k fire gold gilding on copper. The Bodhisattva sits gracefully on a throne in a blessing mudra, offering protection and features a detailed carving on the five-jeweled crown and a radiant halo, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship. Perfect for home altars or meditation spaces, this statue brings peace, harmony, and divine presence to any setting.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Bodhisattva

The Bodhisattva, a revered figure in Mahayana Buddhism, embodies boundless compassion and selfless devotion to the liberation of all beings. Known as the enlightened being who postpones nirvana to guide others toward awakening, the Bodhisattva stands alongside wisdom (Mañjuśrī) and spiritual power (Vajrapāṇi) as one of the three great protectors of Buddhist teachings. Often depicted with a serene expression, graceful posture, and symbolic hand gestures.
