Maitreya sits on an elaborately carved throne, his hands raised in Dharmachakra Mudra. The face is gold-painted with hand-applied detail lending the figure a serene presence. Behind him rises a magnificent full flame-halo densely carved with nagas, garudas, celestial figures and elephants, while crowned with a ceremonial parasol through repoussé and deep three-dimensional hand carving.

At 23 inches tall and 16 inches wide, this statue commands any altar or meditation space it inhabits. Consecration Process & Service

The statue includes a hollow chamber designed to hold rolled mantras, sacred relics, incense, herbal powders, and fragrant wood. During consecration, these are carefully filled and blessed through ritual prayers by qualified monks, making the statue spiritually complete and ready for your altar. A fee will be charged for this service, which is respectfully donated to the lamas performing the rituals.
