Tsokye Dorje

Tsokye Dorje is a revered tantric protector in Vajrayana Buddhism, celebrated as an emanation of enlightened energy who appears to safeguard practitioners, preserve sacred teachings, and subdue negative forces. Historically, he is invoked during times when esoteric lineages or spiritual practices are threatened, embodying both fierce compassion and transformative power to overcome obstacles and purify negative karma. Revered in Nepal and Tibet, his legacy is preserved through ritual texts, empowerments, and continuous veneration by devoted practitioners. Depicted with a wrathful expression, holding a vajra and ritual implements, Tsokye Dorje serves as a vigilant guardian, guiding devotees along the path to liberation while strengthening courage, devotion, and the protection of sacred spaces.
