Handcrafted Sacred Siddhartha Gautama Statue

Discover inner peace with our Meditating Buddha Shakyamuni Statue, a masterwork of Nepalese craftsmanship created using the sacred lost wax technique. Devotees are drawn to this serene representation of the Enlightened One, who sits in Bhumisparsha Mudra—the earth-touching gesture that signifies the moment of enlightenment. Shakyamuni holds a patra (alms bowl), symbolizing detachment, spiritual wealth, and the monastic path to liberation. The statue radiates divine elegance with its fire-gilded body, gold-gilded face, and vivid acrylic painting, all highlighting the intricate detailing of the monk’s robe and the elaborately carved lotus throne. A moon disc base with a hollow chamber invites sacred mantra or relic placement, making this statue not just a centerpiece but a vessel of devotion, meditation, and sacred energy.

Siddhartha Gautama

Siddhartha Gautama, the historical founder of Buddhism, was born around 563 BCE in what is now modern-day Nepal, as a prince of the Shakya clan. Though raised in luxury, Siddhartha Gautama was deeply affected by the suffering he witnessed beyond palace walls. At the age of 29, he renounced his royal status to pursue a path of spiritual awakening. After six years of intense ascetic practice, Siddhartha Gautama discovered that neither indulgence nor extreme self-denial led to true liberation. Choosing the Middle Way, he meditated beneath the sacred Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, where he ultimately attained enlightenment and became the Buddha, meaning the "Awakened One." His journey symbolizes the pursuit of inner peace, mindfulness, and compassion—core teachings of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha that continue to guide millions around the world.
