Guru Rinpoche Statue for Protection and Wisdom | Handmade in Nepal

Guru Rinpoche Statue, a masterfully hand-carved representation of Padmasambhava, the revered lotus-born master of Tibetan Buddhism. Devotees pray to Guru Rinpoche to remove obstacles, dispel negative energies, and awaken deep inner realization. Crafted by a skilled artisan from Patan, Nepal. This Guru Rinpoche statue is made using the traditional lost-wax method and features a hollow chamber for consecration, allowing practitioners to fill it with sacred mantras or relics to enhance its spiritual energy. Seated gracefully on a lotus base, Guru Rinpoche holds a skull cup with a vase on top, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion. The statue is made from high-quality copper and gilded using an ancient Himalayan process known as 24k fire gold gilding—a technique where a mixture of mercury and pure gold is polished onto the surface and fired to leave behind a luminous and durable gold layer.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Padmasambhava

Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche or the “Lotus-Born,” is a legendary tantric master who played a pivotal role in bringing Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. Believed to have been miraculously born from a lotus flower in the land of Oddiyana—often identified with the Swat Valley in present-day Pakistan—he is considered an emanation of the Buddha and a fully enlightened being from birth.
Invited to Tibet by King Trisong Detsen, Padmasambhava helped establish the first Buddhist monastery at Samye and subdued obstructive forces that hindered the spread of the Dharma. His teachings, especially those related to tantra and Dzogchen (the Great Perfection), became the foundation of the Nyingma school, the oldest of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
