Manjushri Statue | Hand-Carved Buddhist Wisdom Deity Sculpture

The Manjushri Statue is a sacred embodiment of enlightened wisdom, masterfully hand-carved by a skilled artisan from Nepal using the ancient lost-wax method. Crafted from a high-quality copper alloy, the statue is gilded in radiant 24k fire gold, while the face is delicately polished with pure 24k gold to highlight its divine expression. Manjushri is portrayed seated on a powerful snow lion, symbolizing fearless wisdom and spiritual courage. A beautifully crafted halo behind him is adorned with semi-precious stones that enhance its sacred aura.

In one hand, he holds a flaming sword that cuts through ignorance, and in the other, a lotus flower supports the Prajnaparamita text, representing the perfection of transcendent knowledge. Devotees pray to Manjushri to strengthen their memory, enhance understanding, and receive blessings of clear perception and enlightened thought. As the Bodhisattva of Wisdom in Tibetan Buddhism, Manjushri symbolizes clarity of mind, intellectual awakening, and spiritual insight.

Manjushri

Manjushri, known in Sanskrit as Manjusri, is a revered bodhisattva in Mahāyāna Buddhism, embodying prajna, transcendent wisdom. His name translates to “Beautiful One with Glory,” reflecting his radiant intellect and spiritual grace. Often depicted wielding a flaming sword in his right hand and holding a lotus that supports the Prajñāpāramitā sūtra in his left, Manjushri symbolizes the cutting away of ignorance and the blossoming of insight. He is considered the father of all Buddhas of this fortunate eon, representing the wisdom from which enlightenment arises. In Tibetan Buddhism, he is especially venerated in the Gelugpa tradition as the main Yidam of Lama Tsongkhapa, and his mantra “oṃ arapacana dhīḥ” is chanted to enhance clarity, memory, and eloquence.
