Traditionally Hand-carved Three Buddha Set with fire-Gilded Detailing

This magnificent Three Buddha Set Statue embodies the sacred essence of Nepali craftsmanship and tells a story of enlightenment through time. It has been hand-carved by a seasoned artisan who has used the ancient lost wax method to bring each detail to life. The base material is pure copper and it undergoes a traditional gilding process where artisans polish it with a blend of mercury and twenty-four karat gold. This mixture is then fired in a controlled process that evaporates the mercury and leaves behind a rich and lasting layer of gold that radiates spiritual energy. The composition features three Buddhas seated with grace beneath a blooming Bodhi Tree structure, where each figure represents a different dimension of awakening.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is the historical Buddha who lived around the 5th to 6th century BCE. He attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree and shared the Dharma—the teachings that form the foundation of Buddhism. Shakyamuni represents the present moment and the path of self-realization through meditation, ethical living, and insight into the nature of suffering and liberation.

Medicine Buddha, or Bhaishajyaguru, is the Buddha of healing and is revered for his ability to cure physical, emotional, and spiritual ailments. His deep blue body symbolizes the healing power of lapis lazuli light. Practitioners chant his mantra to invoke blessings for health and the purification of negative karma. He is especially honored in Tibetan Buddhism and is believed to help remove the root causes of suffering—ignorance, attachment, and aversion.

Amitabha Buddha, meaning “Infinite Light,” presides over the Western Pure Land known as Sukhavati. He is the Buddha of boundless compassion and longevity, and his practice is central to Pure Land Buddhism. Devotees believe that sincere recitation of his name with faith can lead to rebirth in his Pure Land, a realm free from suffering where enlightenment is easily attainable. Amitabha represents the past and the promise of spiritual refuge and rebirth.
