Guru Rinpoche

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is the great Indian tantric master who established Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet during the 8th century at the invitation of King Trisong Detsen. Revered as the Second Buddha, Guru Rinpoche is honored for subduing negative forces, taming inner and outer obstacles, and firmly rooting the Dharma in the Himalayan regions. Through profound teachings and powerful tantric practices, Guru Rinpoche revealed hidden treasures known as terma, preserved for future generations to guide practitioners according to time and need. Devotion to Guru Rinpoche is believed to bring protection, spiritual strength, clarity of mind, and swift progress on the path to enlightenment, making this enlightened master a central figure in Tibetan Buddhism and Himalayan spiritual traditions.
