Lost Wax Cast Medicine Buddha Statue Handmade by Nepalese Artisans

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaiṣajyaguru, is venerated in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition as the enlightened embodiment of healing and compassionate wisdom, whose sacred teachings are devoted to relieving physical illness, easing mental suffering, and guiding all sentient beings toward lasting well-being and spiritual liberation. Revered by devoted practitioners for his profound ability to dispel sickness and anguish, he is traditionally portrayed with a luminous blue body symbolizing the purifying and restorative essence of lapis lazuli, while holding a begging bowl and medicinal herbs that represent his boundless vow to cure suffering at its root. This sacred statue is meticulously crafted by a skilled Newar artist from Nepal using the ancient lost wax casting method, then richly gold fire-gilded with a radiant 24K gold-painted face and beautifully adorned with semi-precious stones. Seated gracefully upon a lotus seat, the symbol of purity rising above worldly pain, this representation invites healing energy, balance, and spiritual harmony into your altar or meditation space.
