Green Tara

Green Tara, known as the "Mother of Liberation," is a beloved female bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism who embodies swift compassion and enlightened action. Radiant in emerald green, she sits in a posture of readiness, her right leg extended to signify her willingness to respond instantly to the suffering of sentient beings. Her left hand forms the gesture of refuge, while her right hand offers blessings of protection and fearlessness, both adorned with blooming lotus flowers that represent purity and spiritual awakening. Green Tara is invoked to overcome obstacles, fears, and emotional turmoil, acting as a divine protector and guide. She is considered an emanation of Avalokiteshvara’s compassionate energy, and her mantra—Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha—is chanted by devotees seeking healing, courage, and liberation from samsaric suffering
