Vajradaka

Vajradaka, also known as Dorje Khandro in Tibetan, is a wrathful deity of purification in Vajrayana Buddhism, particularly associated with the Vajradaka Tantra within the Chakrasamvara Cycle of Tantras. He is depicted with a blue-black body, one face, three eyes, and adorned with bone ornaments and a tiger-skin garment, symbolizing fierce compassion and the destruction of spiritual impurities. Vajradaka’s practice involves a unique ritual where black sesame seeds are inserted into a sculpture of the deity and burned over hot embers, representing the incineration of negative karma and defilements through meditative visualization and mantra recitation
