Guru Rinpoche Statue | Himalayan Craftsmanship in Fire-Gilded Copper

Bring home the divine energy of transformation, protection, and wisdom with this Guru Rinpoche Statue, a sacred masterpiece hand-carved by a master artisan in Nepal using the traditional lost-wax casting method. Expertly crafted from high-quality copper & this statue features a hollow chamber for consecration which allows devotees to enshrine sacred mantras, relics, or blessed items to spiritually empower the piece.

This Padmasambhava statue is meticulously polished using a sacred gold amalgam process, where pure 24k gold is blended with mercury and applied to the surface. It then undergoes a firing process that evaporates the mercury, leaving behind a radiant and durable gold layer—a technique known as 24k fire gold gilded on copper. This process not only enhances the visual beauty of the statue but also increases its spiritual and material longevity.

Guru Rinpoche

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava or the “Lotus-Born,” is one of the most revered figures in Tibetan Buddhism. Believed to have been miraculously born from a lotus flower in the land of Oddiyana, he is considered a fully enlightened being who appeared in the world to spread the profound teachings of Vajrayana Buddhism. In the 8th century, Guru Rinpoche was invited to Tibet by King Trisong Detsen to help establish Buddhism and overcome powerful obstacles posed by local spirits and resistance. Through his mastery of tantric practices, he subdued these forces and founded the first monastery in Tibet at Samye, laying the foundation for the Nyingma school—the oldest of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
