Vajrasattva Statue with Bell and Vajra | Handcrafted Purification Deity Sculpture

Vajrasattva Statue is a beautifully hand-carved spiritual sculpture created by a master artisan from Nepal using the traditional lost-wax casting method. Crafted from pure copper, the statue is finished with a radiant layer of 24k fire gold gilding. This finish is achieved through the ancient gold amalgam process, where pure gold is carefully mixed with mercury and applied to the surface. The statue is then fired at high heat to evaporate the mercury, leaving a long-lasting and luminous layer of real gold on the copper base, known as 24k fire gold gilded on copper.

Vajrasattva is depicted in a serene meditative posture, gracefully seated on a lotus base while holding a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left. These sacred objects symbolize method and wisdom, the union of compassion and insight. The statue also includes a hollow chamber for consecration, allowing practitioners to insert mantras or relics to spiritually empower the piece. Devotees pray to Vajrasattva to purify negative karma, remove obstacles, and cleanse the mind and heart from past misdeeds.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

Vajrasattva

Vajrasattva, whose name means “Diamond Being” or “Thunderbolt Being,” is a central figure in Vajrayana Buddhism, revered as the embodiment of purity, spiritual renewal, and the power to cleanse negative karma. Often depicted holding a vajra (symbol of indestructible truth) and a bell (symbol of wisdom), Vajrasattva represents the union of method and insight—the very heart of tantric practice. In Tibetan Buddhism, his practice is foundational: reciting the 100-syllable mantra of Vajrasattva is considered one of the most potent methods for purification, helping practitioners clear obscurations and emotional defilements that block spiritual progress.
