White Tara

White Tara is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying compassion, healing, and longevity. She is considered a manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, and is often invoked for protection and spiritual clarity. Her radiant white color symbolizes purity and wisdom, while her seven eyes located on her face, hands, and feet represent her ability to see the suffering of all beings and respond with boundless compassion. She is typically depicted seated on a lotus throne, which signifies spiritual transcendence, and she holds a blue lotus in her left hand as a symbol of purity and blossoming wisdom. Practitioners chant her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jñana Pustim Kuru Svaha," to cultivate long life, merit, and insight.
