21 Tara

The 21 Taras symbolizes different aspects of Tara’s compassionate nature, each form offering a distinct protection or blessing. In Tibetan Buddhism, Tara is revered as the mother of liberation, and her 21 manifestations are seen as protectors from various dangers, both physical and spiritual, such as fear, illness, and ignorance. The 21 forms include peaceful and wrathful aspects, reflecting her ability to respond to the different needs of practitioners. Each Tara is associated with specific qualities, such as wisdom, healing, and courage, and devotees can meditate on each form to invoke her specific blessings, making her presence versatile and deeply impactful in spiritual practice.
