Vajrasattva - Dorje Sempa
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is a significant being, symbolizing purification and spiritual power. He is popularly called the "Diamond Being." He signifies the unbreakable nature of reality and poise in transforming negative karma into wisdom. Typically, he is peaceful, seated in meditation, with a vajra (ritual object symbolizing the union of method and wisdom) in one hand, and a bell in the other, representing the dichotomy of compassion and wisdom. His practice forms an important part of Tibetan Buddhist rituals-the most relevant as purification and healing ceremonies. His mantra is-"Om Vajrasattva Hum," recited to invoke blessings from Vajrasattva, purify and achieve spiritual clarity.
