This Three Buddha Set represents three principal deities: Amitabha, Medicine, and Shakyamuni Buddha. We crafted this statue set using copper and then hand-carved intricate designs and patterns using a hammer and chisels. To create delicate carvings, our artists must have decades of experience, as they need to work on a small surface and create complex design patterns. They meticulously fulfill every minute detail on the statue based on the traditional iconography found in Buddhist scriptures. Afterward, we gilded the statue set with genuine 24K gold.

Three Buddha Set

According to legend, the Three Buddha Set consists of three important figures in Buddhism: Amitabha Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, and Medicine Buddha.

Amitabha Buddha

Amitabha Buddha was once an emperor who renounced his throne to become the Dharmakara Bodhisattva. After practicing for five eons, he attained enlightenment and became the Buddha of Mercy and Wisdom. He is associated with the third skandha, the skandha of perception.

Shakyamuni Buddha

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated on a lotus in a vajra pose. He represents the path to enlightenment and liberation from suffering. His teachings guide humanity to awaken and realize the true essence of existence.

Medicine Buddha

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajya or the Healing Buddha, resides in the purified eastern lapis lazuli realm. He possesses the power to heal both life and death afflictions. Accompanying him are two Bodhisattvas, Suryaprabha and Candrapraha, who assist him in reforming and teaching sentient beings in that realm.
