Goddess White Tara Statue | Nepali Buddhist Work of Art

Invite the blessings of longevity and healing with this Enlightened White Tara Figurine, a masterfully handcrafted Nepali work of art. Created in Nepal by Newari artisans using the lost-wax method, this statue captures White Tara’s enlightened presence. White Tara is depicted seated gracefully upon a detailed lotus pedestal, adorned with an ornate jeweled crown, layered necklace and sacred ornaments. Her tranquil gold-painted face radiates compassion, while her seven eyes—one on each palm, each sole, and three across her face—symbolize her awareness and unwavering watchfulness over all sentient beings.

Crafted from premium copper, this statue achieves its rich dark patina through a specialized oxidation process that chemically treats the surface, creating an aged finish while adding a protective layer. The sculpture is further enhanced with gold gilding and elegant silver plating, highlighting the intricate repoussé work and hand-chased patterns. This White Tara statue serves as a centerpiece for meditation rooms and spiritual décor collections.

Please note: The statue in the photograph is the actual piece for sale, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity.

About White Tara

White Tara, also known as Sita Tara, is a revered female Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism who embodies maternal compassion, healing, and longevity. She is often depicted as a serene figure with seven eyes, three on her face, and one on each palm and solesymbolizing her vigilant awareness and ability to see the suffering of all beings. Born from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, she represents the feminine aspect of enlightened compassion and serves as a protector against physical and spiritual obstacles. Practitioners invoke White Tara Mantra:"Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jnana Pustim Kuru Svaha", to cultivate inner peace, extend life, and overcome illness.
