Consecration Process & Service

About Achi Chokyi Drolma

Achi Chokyi Drolma is a revered female dharmapāla and enlightened protector in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition who is especially honored in the Drikung Kagyu lineage. She is believed to be the great-grandmother of Jigten Sumgon, who founded the Drikung Kagyu school. Achi is both a historical figure and a fully realized emanation of Vajrayoginī.
