Peaceful Buddha Sculpture for Meditation | 24K Gold Fire-Gilded Copper Statue

One of the most venerated figures in Buddhist tradition, Shakyamuni Buddha is presented here in a finely crafted copper statue made for both devotional practice and contemplative display. Seated on a lotus pedestal, its petals are hand-painted in deep red acrylic. He wears the traditional monastic robe worked in dense repousse scrollwork divided into panels.

His right hand extends downward in bhumisparsha mudra while the left cradles an alms bowl in the lap. The face is finished in polished 24K gold fire-gilding with hand-applied acrylic detailing on the eyes and lips completing the iconographic form.

Casted from copper using the lost-wax method and enhanced with multiple layers of gold fire-gilding, this Shakyamuni statue measures 17 inches in height, 12 inches in width, and weighs 8.46 kg. Whether placed on a meditation shrine or as a statement piece in a living space, this sculpture brings the presence of the Awakened One into any setting.
