Vajrayogini

Vajrayogini is one of the most revered and powerful female deities in Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhism, often regarded as the embodiment of divine feminine wisdom, ultimate freedom, and spiritual transformation. Known as a dakini, or "sky dancer," Vajrayogini represents the union of bliss and emptiness and is considered the ultimate expression of enlightened feminine energy.

She is often depicted in a semi-wrathful form, radiant in red to symbolize passion transformed into compassion and wisdom. Her imagery is deeply symbolic: she stands or dances in flames, holds a curved knife (kartika) and a skull cup (kapala) filled with nectar, and wears a garland of skulls, signifying the severing of ego and ignorance.
